Kickstarter is home to many weird and wacky things. And you certainly can’t claim that Karnivore Koala doesn’t fall right into to just that category. Just reading the name out loud to yourself you know that this can’t be a boring thing.
But we all know a game should be more than just a funny name, a weird theme and some crazy art. It should also be a good game. So is this a good game? I’ll let you answer that question yourself. But I can tell you this, it looks to be a lot of entertainment in a box for just 25 € (including free shipping). And in the end isn’t that the whole point of playing games? Spending 5 minutes reading through their wacky and illustrated description of the game certainly isn’t a waste of time, and I promise you you’ll be entertained.
Voodoo Games says that this is a fast-paced strategic card game with “ever so unsatisfying” (their words) randomness of dice rolls, mixed with backstabbing friends, that certainly sounds promising and good ingredients for a game.
It’s on Kickstarter until the 12th of June, and by then it seems by them it will have unlocked even more stretch goals than it already has.
