But then humanity evolved to understand it, harness it, and even bend it to their purpose. Your life has been devoted to learning how to shape the very workings of the universe to your will… or rather, to the will of your people. You are to become a scientist, a member of the most revered caste. Now the time has come for the final exam. You must prove you can create new solar systems, coax stars into life, shape a range of biomes, and ultimately seed planets with life. It may only be a simulation, there are limits to what you can do here; this is science, not magic. And you are not alone. Across the complex, fellow apprentices step into their own chambers, beginning the same trial. Only one will rise to join the caste. This is your moment of truth. Entropy plays out over a variable number of rounds. Each turn, you must move your Scientist between 1 to 3 spaces clockwise around the Main board. You must end your movement on either an inner Action space on the Main board or an outer space of an Action tile, and resolve it. You will build Solar Systems with Stars, Planets, and Asteroids, then fill them with Life, by playing cards. You may also gain various special abilities by adding Biomes and upgrading your Console. The end game is triggered when any 2 out of 6 Main Objectives are Completed. The player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game is the winner. —description from the publisher | Need Preordered

Whatever you decide, hilarious consequences will surely follow. Grow stronger, get smarter, and gain favor (or not) with the Gods who'll be judging you at every step of the way. Each player has 3 tracks on their player board corresponding to the 3 Gods. Appeasing them or displeasing them will buf or debuff your hero! As in traditional climbing games, a player must play the same number of cards with a higher value in order to beat the previous play. However, a stylish step allows a single card to be split into two. An even-numbered card can be beaten by two cards whose combined value equals half of that card. If two even-numbered cards are played, they may be beaten with four cards; if three even-numbered cards are played, they may be beaten with six cards. The highest number is 7, and under normal circumstances it cannot be beaten. However, the dazzling step of playing 1 and 2 together can defeat it. This combination, called the “Ultimate Praise,” cannot be beaten by any other play. Players score points according to the order in which they empty their hands. The roses are overgrown, the orchard is crawling with aphids, and only you and your old friends – the ladybirds – can help restore the garden to its former splendor. The game unfolds over five summer days. Day one is over after a single round, but each new day brings you an extra garden action and one more round than the day before, building to a grand finale on day five – fifteen rounds in all. Each round opens with everyone revealing a card at once; then, in turn order, each player places their card into one of five colored columns and performs one of the available garden actions. The life-cycle state on the card you play – egg, larva, pupa, or adult – determines which card you can draft next, so you're always weighing what you want on the table against what you want to draft next. Completing a full life cycle (collecting all 4 life cycle symbols) in a column or clearing aphids from the orchard boosts the value of your ladybirds. Every card you place changes the options available to everyone else at the table, and tension builds steadily as you compete for the exact ladybird type and color you need before an opponent snags it first. There's still time for a picnic along the way, as you lead your ladybirds onto the trail of their favorite dish: aphids (and in one special case, mildew). Score bonus points by completing sets of all five colors, feeding specific ladybird types, and unlocking forgotten childhood memories. And watch out for the Harlequin. They hire actors and cast them in roles that match the genre aptitudes shown on their cards, such as Comedy, Romance, Action, and Drama. Extras are also available. They add only a small value, but they can fill any role without counting as a miscast. During the game, actors are displayed in a casting area and can be hired with money. Players may pay to refresh the available actors before hiring a new actor or producing a film. Since money is often tight in movie production, a completed production can also be used to take out a loan. To produce a movie, the director assigns actors from their hand cards to the required roles. Actors who fit their roles add their points to the production, while miscast actors add nothing. A production without any miscasts receives a bonus. Some of the game material is adjusted during play, as the value of a completed movie production is written on its tile and reduced by hand if that production is later used for a loan. The movie productions take place in the major Bollywood movie cities Mumbai, London, L.A., Berlin, and Cannes. The chosen city matters, because each production is ranked against the others at the same location and scores victory points based on its position. After all players have completed their productions, they add up their victory points. Players draw cards from a deck and add them to a communal queue, then choose a colour and take all available cards of that colour to fill a 4×4 personal collection grid. Because cards are initially collected "capsule-side" up, players must strategically activate Action Tiles to flip them to their "toy-side" to score points. The game features a dynamic action system where the number of cards collected in a turn determines which tile is activated, and tiles are shifted after use to change the available actions for future turns. The game concludes when a player fills their 16-card grid, leading to a final scoring phase. Toys vary in rarity; for example, a colour set like red might contain three high-value "5-star" toys, five "3-star" toys, and ten "1-star" toys, which shifts the probability of a big score depending on the colour's total card count. To maximize points, players must use "Open" actions to flip connected groups of the same colour or spend Open Tokens for individual reveal. —description from the publisher | Maybe

On a turn, a player takes up to three actions: drawing a card, moving to an adjacent door, giving a card (or relic) to someone at your door, illuminating a shadow card from your door by discarding a card that bears a lantern of the same color, or finding a relic by discarding four cards of the color matching your door. Each adventurer has a special power that modifies an action or offers a new action. Each door has a relic behind it, and once you find a relic, the holder can use its power by discarding a card bearing the relic's symbol, sometimes as an action on its own, sometimes not. To end a player's turn, they draw two cards, then place "shadows" from the deck equal to the shadow level. If a fourth card would be placed on either side of a door, flip the card to its partially closed side; if the door would flip a second time, remove it from play. If the players don't already have this relic, they lose. Each time players need to shuffle the deck, the shadow level increases — and this level will increase more quickly as the game progresses since some cards, such as spells that provide a one-time effect, are removed from play instead of being discarded. If you have no cards to shuffle or the shadow level tops out, the players lose. | Maybe

In the knowledge track you can also upgrade your dwarf workers to special meeples that give you actions, and also give special abilities to be used when they all return to you after they are all out. A big element of the game is the battling system that allow for you to hit cards (in a push your luck) where the damage you deal and the damage you take comes from your own deck. Weapons you forge and monsters you defeat also go to your deck along with cards that will allow for the most varied actions (as long as you survive the fight) so many times you need to decide to either flee and perform the actions or risk it all to try and defeat the monster. There are some arcade - boss battler - elements and the dragon fights back putting fire to the city and if any tile has 3 fire it will be destroyed and players will lose the game if 7 city tiles are destroyed. The game ends when the dragon is defeated by one of the players. If you are playing coop then you will all win together, if before the beginning of the game you decided for the competitive game then you will count points to decide the new king. —description from the publisher | Maybe | is dit wat? |

In Look Inside, players use this machine to enter the lives and inner worlds of people facing different mental health challenges. Together, they observe what happens to them, discuss what they might experience, and make decisions from their perspective. Each scenario follows a different protagonist with their own story and struggles and can be explored from different perspectives. In Anna’s scenario, for example, players may experience her story through her work life in one playthrough and through her family life in another, encountering different interactions and dreams along the way. Once explored, content from different perspectives can also be combined to create new variations of the scenario. During Interactions, the protagonist encounters other people who may respond supportively or say something difficult. Players are given several possible reactions, but instead of choosing the “best” response or what they themselves would do, they must determine how the protagonist is able to react in that moment. To do so, they look inside the character’s inner world, where the current state of their challenges and overall well-being provides clues. Players interpret these clues together and agree on an answer before checking the result. During Dreams, players enter the protagonist’s dreams and try to send helpful hints by identifying elements hidden in dream illustrations. These elements represent techniques drawn from psychology, and players must again consider the protagonist’s current state to determine which approach might fit. Each scenario unfolds over three chapters. By solving Interaction and Dream riddles, players can improve the protagonist’s well-being and change the state of their challenges. The players win together if all challenges reach their green state before the end of the third chapter. —description from the designer | Maybe

The case had seemed so simple at first, but considering the recovered documents, footprints, and that lone key... it’s clear that this was merely the entrance to a complex labyrinth. All you can do is keep asking questions. Search the harbor, chinatown, and main street. Watch the central station, civic center and cafes. Keep trying to piece it together, keep asking questions... P.I. (Second Edition) is a new remake of the legendary deduction classic by Martin Wallace. This second edition, released after 15 years, features brand-new artwork and introduces a dedicated two-player head-to-head mode. In addition, by scanning the QR code in the rulebook and downloading the companion app, players can enjoy a solo time-attack mode in which an App hides the clues for you to uncover. In more detail.. In the new edition, points are tracked in real time for each individual deduction attempt, according to the result. In the first edition, points were awarded in descending order based on the order in which players successfully solved the case. In the second edition, however, once the first player successfully makes a deduction, the maximum number of points available begins to decrease with each subsequent round. This adjustment was made to allow for a faster pace of play in line with current design trends. In the two-player mode, the game is no longer decided by accumulated points. Instead, each round is determined by whether a player’s deduction attempt succeeds, and the first player to win two out of three rounds wins the game. However, winning a round requires returning a hint token, which creates a penalty in the following round. For this purpose, the reverse side of the board is used, along with a dedicated scoreboard for determining round victories. The solo mode represents the most significant change compared to the previous version. It introduces a real-time deduction format, where players score based on how quickly and accurately they solve the clues. Results can be uploaded to a server, allowing players to compete against others through a leader board system. | Maybe

Every round brings a dynamic change in orientation, as cards literally rotate on the table, twisting strategies and alliances. It’s a mental duel of anticipation and adaptation as players harness the flow of verticals and horizontals to outmaneuver rivals and claim victory. Rotate is a trick-taking game for 3–5 players that introduces a unique rotation mechanic: each card can be played in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, showing different numerical values depending on its facing. Players follow suit and compete to win tricks, but specific card interactions can trigger a Rotate condition, causing all cards in play to rotate 90 degrees and change their active values. Special “X” cards add further chaos by instantly flipping the entire field. Scoring depends on which orientation (vertical or horizontal) dominates, creating a tug-of-war of tactical shifts. The player who best adapts to the ever-changing landscape wins. | Maybe

King Henry pursued Anne Boleyn for almost seven years before they were married. Those loyal to Catherine of Aragon did not accept Anne Boleyn, and considered King Henry’s first wife the rightful Queen. Those loyal to Anne Boleyn saw her as the future, the young wife who would surely give the King a son. The Six of VIII is a trick-taking game played on a timeline. Each Queen has her own suit which is trump during her reign. Players must capture tricks containing crucial courtiers and score the most points. The suits, and the years on the timeline, are proportional to the lengths of the reign of each Queen, with Anne of Cleves being the shortest. Players sit across from their partner and pass two cards face down to begin. Tricks are must-follow. Players win one point per trick, and any points on the cards in the trick. Four hands are played, and the team with the most points wins. In the advanced variant, three cards are added: the King and two Spies. The King card is the highest trump. The zero cards are spies, lowly servants that go unnoticed, working to undermine the rival side. They come in black (for Catherine of Aragon) and red (for Anne Boleyn), but may reveal themselves as the 13 of the opposite suit. There is also The Church of England card, which is given to the team with fewer points after scoring. Once per hand, it can annul a trick that does not contain the King. | Maybe

A group of homeless white bears drifts across the ocean in search of a new home and reaches a group of islands already occupied by black bears. Each player controls one color of bears and a deck of action cards. On your turn, play one of three face-up cards to move, stack, swap, gather, scatter, push, or remove bears. Bears sharing the same space move together, and bears can stack on top of one another. The color of the top bear determines which player controls that space. If six or more bears occupy the same space after an action is resolved, overcrowding occurs and the active player removes all opposing bears in that space from the game. Islands with no bears remaining sink and are removed from play. A player wins immediately when every occupied space is controlled by the same color, meaning that the top bear in every remaining stack belongs to that player.
