A Carnivore Did It! promises a guilty meat-eater, but you will have to determine the culprit for yourself. Maybe an herbivore was actually behind the crime, or perhaps you're searching for two culprits — or even three?

For each case in this co-operative game, you're given a number of suspects, with each suspect being assigned a statement, e.g., "Shark is telling the truth" or "A carnivore did it". You know how many culprits you're looking for, and you have some idea of how truthful everyone is being. Perhaps only one suspect is lying, or perhaps 3-4 of them are telling the truth. Putting all of this information together, can you determine who did the crime?

A Carnivore Did It! includes two thousand cases, each with a single solution, with the difficulty increasing to have up to seven suspects, conditional statements, and varying levels of truthiness.

Also included is a campaign mode that links several cases together, with you scoring in them based on the amount of time it takes to find each solution...if you find them at all.

Each game presents a new challenge where you’ll need to guide your crew with wisdom and resolve, all in service of your kingdom’s glory. Fierce winds and sudden storms will test your leadership, while the cards in your hand will help you maintain morale and steer your crew across the seas.
Though hardships may wear you down, they also teach you valuable skills to overcome the trials ahead. Victory lies in reaching your destination. But beware! Failure awaits if morale crumbles or your crew turns against you.

Adamastor is a hand and tableau management game built around multi-use cards, with an optional story-driven campaign mode. Events trigger based on icon combinations, bringing harsh challenges—and occasional rewards. In Amanite, it's all about deduction and risk-taking.
Make better choices than your opponents by picking the right mushrooms (and avoiding the bad ones!).

The information you choose will be valuable, and the choices made by other players will teach you a lot!

You will have 3 initial clues, different ones for each player, but you will need to have more to cross the information and deduce the real values of each mushrooms. First, because your clues will be shuffled and you won't be sure about anything and also, because you will have to chase information regarding the other mushrooms.

During the game, player will share the mushrooms with a "split & choose" mechanism, and the choices of each player will give information to everyone around the table.

It will again help the players to eventually choose the best mushrooms.

A game of Amanite is played in 3 rounds. At the end of these rounds, the player who has earned the most victory points with the tokens they have collected wins the game.
But be careful, players who have collected too many poisonous mushrooms will not be able to claim victory!

Arigatō is a strategic and competitive card game in which you play as the leader of your village and try to combine the best artisan cards to claim victory. Each of twelve rounds consists of three phases, all of which are played simultaneously:

  • Dawn: Secretly choose the role of each of your five artisans in hand: one resident, two travelers, and two crafters.
  • Day: Reveal your artisan cards and collect the objects provided by the producer artisans. Trigger the effects of your resident artisans, if applicable. Manage your objects and try to gather those required by your residents to prepare offerings for the Shogun.
  • Dusk: Check whether you've fulfilled the Shogun's whims for the day, and earn additional favors.

After twelve rounds, the player who has accumulated the most favors — which are earned through offerings, effects, and objectives — wins.

Analyze, assemble, admire — in Behind, you'll find three scenes to solve, each with its own unique mechanisms and reflection. You want to observe the tiles laid out in front of you, then assemble them logically and turn them over to admire the result on the reverse! Six clue cards are available for each scene and should be turned over in numerical order. The scenes in the box are:

The Theft: A theft has taken place in a city museum. The investigation is moving fast! (Illustrated by Pierô - 56 tiles)
The Professor: Two scientists experiment with an incredible machine. (Scripted and illustrated by Martin Vidberg - 54 tiles)
Imhotep: A bas-relief of strange hieroglyphs is said to open a door to the cosmos. (Illustrated by Maud Chalmel - 70 tiles)

Once you've reconstructed the picture, you can read all of the clues at your disposal, even if none of them were turned over while you were solving the picture. They'll help you validate your thinking and confirm your thoughts! Finally, flip each tile to reveal the final image...

Build the most beautiful Amsterdam canal houses, full of shops, cats, seagulls and tulips in this fun card game!

Grachtenpand is a light hand drafting game for 2-4 players where you build an idyllic set of canal houses. You build the houses using 'bases', 'floors' and 'roofs'.

Each turn, each player simultaneously chooses one card from their hand and builds it, using the rules detailed below.
After building their cards, each player passes the remaining three cards to the player on their left. After receiving a new hand of three cards from the player to their right, each player chooses a type of card (base, front, or roof) and draws one card of that type from the corresponding deck into their hand to refresh it to four cards.

A completed house consists of a base at the bottom, any number of front cards, and one roof at the top. When building a house, you must build from the bottom-up (starting with a base and ending with a roof).

Each card has a column of three different critters on the front and a capybara on the back. Either place the critters on one of your capybaras, or add a capy to your roster.

When you get 3 or more matching critters in a diagonal or horizontal row, you may score them according to the current market value and move that value to 1 while shifting the other values up. Will you score high value lines now, or build up and score multiple lines at the same time later? The first player to 25 points triggers the ending, where everyone adds points for collecting a certain secret critter.

Each game has variable powers that let you manipulate your tableau and the board, and variable board setups that shift your strategies. The advanced mode adds a second rows of scoring conditions that include lines of background pictures or certain patterns of critters. Multiple boxes may be added together to play with more than 4 player with simultaneous drafting rules. Solo mode is drafting against two bots and adds 6 variable cards to the deck that trigger special bot actions when drawn, and you must out score both bots to win.

Mechanisms: Deduction Predictive Bid Take That Trick-taking

Farm Hand is a fun and engaging 21-card micro game for 1-5 players in 15-20 mins. A game that neatly fits in your pocket or purse and can be played almost anywhere.

The game has 6 asymmetric suits ranging from 1 card through to 6 cards, with values 1-7 spread across the suits. Gameplay includes trick-taking, publicly visible suits, and simultaneous bidding.

Played across 6 rounds, each round players are dealt a hand that increases by 1 card (1x card in round 1, 2x cards in round 2, etc.)

With all suits openly visible to all players, everyone must try to predict how many tricks they will win in the round - they bid simultaneously by revealing a number of fingers.

The bids are recorded and the trick-taking phase commences.

Everyone plays their cards using standard must-follow trick-taking rules, however, the highest card wins the trick, regardless of suit. BUT... if cards of the same number are played, they cancel each other out and the next highest card wins the trick. This often leads to surprise outcomes and plenty of laughs and groans.

Points are awarded based on whether players correctly predicted their bids or not:
  • If your Bid and Tricks match EXACTLY, score points equal to the Current Round
  • If your Bid and Tricks DO NOT MATCH, score -1 point per Difference

The dealer moves clockwise. Gather all the cards, shuffle and deal again.

Play 6 rounds. The winner is the player with the highest score.

Fear of the Dark is a solo push-your-luck board game with tile placement and a horror theme.

Inspired by one of the primal fears, it places you in an unknown location without any tangible threat except being alone in the dark with only a limited number of matches in your pocket. The only other resource is your common sense, but like the matches, it is in short supply and tends to deplete too fast.

To win, you cannot be too cautious, as all your matches will run out, and soon after, the loss of common sense will leave you stranded in the dark, and unable to move (losing the game). You must take risks and move forward until you find that last door that does not have any room behind it, leading you to freedom.

The gameplay is divided into two modes:
- Playing with a lit match, you can use your cards to perform actions (moving, exploring or searching) or use their more advanced abilities that will use up that card permanently (loss of common sense).
- Playing without a lit match is much worse, as each card played is used up permanently as you slowly lose the ability for stable thought in the dark.

This game is played in several hands. In each hand the players try to be the first to get rid of all of their cards. Their scores are based on how early in the hand they get rid of all their cards. There are two ways to play: you can play where all hands are played the same, or you can play the game with changing partners.

This is a climbing game, similar to The Great Dalmuti, Tichu, and others. The difference here is that the ranks are different kinds of colorfully illustrated animals. Each is scared away only by certain other animals. Players set out one to whatever cards of a particular variety, and someone can play onto that pile only if they have more of that animal or an equal number of some animal that can scare it away. Players get points by playing all their cards, collecting lions, and collecting a hedgehog.

The core mechanisms involve grid building and card management, with pond construction as a spatial puzzle. In each round, players choose cards from a shared display and add one card to their pond, aiming to fulfill specific conditions set by different frog species to earn points, with larger groups of the same frog type yielding even greater rewards.

A unique shared mechanism revolves around the "jumper frog", a central figure that hunts insects and other food. All players influence the jumper frog's actions and compete to gather insects that can provide bonus points during the final scoring. Careful planning and resourceful play will lead to the most balanced and flourishing pond!

Welcome to the Roaring Twenties! Gatsby is a two-player game in which you take on the role of either Dorothy Williams or James Miller, competing to spread their influence and draw the attention of the great Jay Gatsby.

On the board are three locations, each offering different opportunities to get character tiles: the cabaret, the finance center, and the racetrack. To claim these characters, each player will take turns moving the action marker on one of the four action spaces — but not the one just taken by the opponent — then activating it.

These actions let you place two influence tokens on one or two locations, allowing you to claim characters in different ways, depending on the location. In the cabaret, your tokens must form a continuous line from one side of the board to the opposite side or cover the four-star icons at the same time. In the finance center, influence lets you climb up the track. In the racetrack, your tokens are placed in races, trying to be the player with the most tokens on that race line when it's filled.

On all three locations, some special spaces on the board grant bonuses when you place a token on them: swapping two tokens on the board, forcing your opponent to take a specific action, or gaining a special action tile!

A player wins immediately if they control three characters of the same color or one character of each of the five colors. If all character tiles from a single location have been claimed before one of these conditions is met, the player with the most stars on their characters wins.

Ich habe das mittlerweile bei BGA gespielt und muss sagen, dass ich das echt sehr gelungen finde. Es hat eine gute Aktionsauswahl und ist durch und durch spannend und eng.

Together, they must build their decks by passing cards between each other, eliminating weaker or negative cards, and facing various adventures within the dream world. The game is divided into three R.E.M. phases, each culminating in a confrontation with a terrifying monster, such as a ball of yarn, a half-opened wardrobe, a pigeon, and more. These monsters are confronted simultaneously by both players on different parts of the creature, and every victory strengthens the characters. Throughout the game, players will manage their resources, represented by the ticking of time to ensure they can save Nina.

Long ago, the once-gentle leviathans lost their minds and tore the world apart. After generations of hiding and struggle, humanity discovered that the frenzied leviathans can be restored. Climbers willing to take the risk must explore the wilds and work together to remove a series of binding crystals to heal the leviathans roaming the world.

In Leviathan Wilds, 1-4 players will confront these colossal beings, with each creature being depicted across the spread of a spiral-bound storybook that makes up the game's board. The book also forms the basis of a connected campaign mode built around the game's story, with each of twenty included scenarios estimated to last around 45 minutes. Tougher difficulty levels are also available for added replayability.

Each character's deck of multi-use cards is unique, allowing them to climb, jump, and glide around the board in different ways. The number of cards left in the slim deck represents their grip on the leviathan's body; if the deck runs out, the player loses their grip and begins to fall down the board until they're able to reach a rest space, which resets their deck. Moving onto rest spaces also provides a way to regain one's grip without falling. Other spaces reduce a character's health or grip or they increase blight, a status that reduces their overall hit points.

The leviathan has its own deck of cards, which triggers various effects at the beginning of a player's turn, from targeted attacks that reduce health to effects that move players between spaces or loosen their grip. As the game progresses, the leviathan gradually gains "rage", which intensifies the effect of its event cards.

Players' characters can move around a square grid overlaid on the creature's body by spending action points — the number being determined by a card played at the start of their turn — and their remaining hand of ability cards to reach the crystals and reduce them to zero. Victory is achieved by reducing all crystals, which vary in strength, to zero.

Limit is a competitive strategy game where you play as a Nation facing the challenges of our world. Make crucial political decisions, manage your resources with finesse, anticipate global crises and adapt to the upheavals of the planet and the decisions of other Nations.

Balance growth and resilience to build a prosperous society.

The game takes place in a maximum of 7 generations. However, the end of the game can come before if you and your opponents trigger at least 4 global crises.

A generation is made up of 3 phases:

  • The Political phase: you make decisions
  • The Social phase: your Nation reacts to these decisions
  • The International phase: crises arise and alliances are formed

The Political phase:
During the Politics phase, you gain and draw cards, manage your hand, and play Politics cards in the order of your choice. The progress of this phase can change from one generation to another and can be different depending on the Nations, it is determined by the position of the Social Class 5 cylinder in the Standard of Living table.

The Social phase:
During the Social phase, your population will consume resources, grow, pay taxes, produce wealth, and eventually revolt. You will not have to make any decisions during this phase. It is played simultaneously by all Nations. The progress of this phase can change from one generation to another and can be different depending on the Nations, it is determined by the position of the Social Class 3 cylinder in the Standard of Living table.

The International phase:
During the International phase, crises will be triggered and resolved, alliances can be formed.

End of the Game:
Before counting your points, you must test the resilience of your Nation for future generations. Redo the Food, Consumption and Production stages of the Social phase with the effects of shortages but without new crises.
Count your points by adding up your different scores:
  • Gross domestic happiness: Calculate your overall Standard of Living by adding the living standards of your Social Classes 1, 3 and 5.
  • Financial power: Determine the value of the currency by subtracting the number of crises that have occurred from the number 5. If this value is negative, the value of the currency is 0. For every $10 in your possession, earn this value in points.
  • Territory: Gain 5 points for each of your Territory tokens.
  • Military power: Gain 1 point for every 3 military resources present in your Stock.
  • Historical impact: Lose 2 points per Pollution token and 2 points per Destabilization token in your possession.

The Nation with the highest score wins the game.

A strange Dowager lives outside of Derby in a sprawling manor distastefully done up like a Scottish castle. More distasteful yet is that her estate is simply crawling with odd characters, refugees from around Europe and eccentric, if pedigreed, characters from closer to home. Respectable people shun the great lady for her appalling taste in acquaintances, but one must confess that her rabble is spectacularly interesting...

The Characters expansion for Obsession brings thematic new personalities to Derbyshire who provide unique actions for managing your country estate: Constable Bucket, a fair hand at running off all manner of unsavoury guests; a Mr. Higbee who can find domestic help in a pinch (“References? I am sure they are here somewhere…”); the wise Reverend Grantly, a dispenser of sage advice; and an Eccentric Dowager Marchioness, who will connect you with a Prussian major, Swedish noble, and a Russian count as quick as a wink.

collection before the washing machine cycle starts. But be careful, if you have an odd number of socks with the same pattern,
you won’t be able to pair them up and won’t score any points for that pattern.

How does it work?
  1. Draw two cards.
  2. Add one to your collection and apply its effect if it has one (give a surprise sock, steal a sock, etc.).
  3. Give the other card to the player on your left or right, following the direction of the arrow.

Elastic Wave Shooting
On the solution sheet, there is a grid of 10 x 8 cells. Choose one of the numbers (1-18) or letters (A-R) along the outer edge of the grid to shoot an elastic wave. The elastic wave travels horizontally or vertically from the fired position, bouncing off each mineral at right angles or horizontally and vertically until it exits the mine.

Rewild: South America is a unique, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game for nature enthusiasts with a heart for wildlife that can be enjoyed in 45-60 minutes.

The thematic focus of Rewild is on the fauna and flora of the South American ecoregions Caatinga, Gran Chaco, Cerrado, Pantanal, Amazon rainforest and Atlantic rainforest. These 6 ecoregions and all their inhabitants exhibit diverse interrelationships and dependencies. One of the core concerns of game author Bruno Liguori Sia, who lives in Brazil himself, was to depict and convey this complex network in a game.

In terms of game mechanics, Rewild has a straightforward foundation. On their turn, each player plays a card and chooses one of two depicted actions. After carrying out this action, the player can attract animals and plants on display to their ecosystem. As soon as a player has 8 (or 9) face-up animal cards in front of them, the end of the game is triggered.

However, you shouldn't be fooled by this essentially simple basis, as every game of Rewild features countless decisions and plays differently every time due to the enormous variety of cards. Questions that players are faced with include:
  • How do I generate enough resources (water, minerals, seeds) to expand my ecosystem? Where do I place which biomes so that their effects optimally promote the expansion of my ecosystem? Do I focus on one biome or several? Would it make sense to upgrade my existing biomes?
  • When do I get all my action cards back into my hand to have more options and resources available again? Do I do this once, twice or even three times and what are my opponents planning? Will I still have enough time to play all my cards in time for them to count towards the effects of my animal cards?
  • Which animal and plant cards do I bring into my ecosystem to create an optimally linked ecosystem that generates as many victory points as possible? Are there any cards with immediate effects that would be interesting for a retrigger? Do I keep an animal species until the end, or do I immediately generate points by making it the target of a predator?

The player who best answers and masters all these questions in a game of Rewild receives the most victory points and wins the game.

Each of the four crew factions (♣️♦️♥️♠️) has unique abilities, and players must combine their faction powers with their own special actions to outwit the Rich Rats and send them back to their cabins a little poorer than before.

Defeat both River Rats by ensuring each accumulates five Debt before you collectively gain five Debt.

Kooperatives Pokerspiel mit coolen Maus-Illustrationen. Ohje, bekommt the gang nun schlechte Nachahmer?

In Sanctuary, you will plan and design a modern, scientifically-managed zoo for animals and visitors. A supply of 135 unique zoo tiles provides you with animals, buildings, and projects. In every game, you want to find the best mix from those available to build the most successful zoological establishment. Different effects on the tiles will help you to achieve conservation goals and to increase the attraction of your zoo.

Each player has a set of four action cards to manage their gameplay, and the power of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. One of those cards will let you play projects, and the other three cards will let you play animals of a specific habitat: forest, rock, or water.

Sanctuary is based on its predecessor Ark Nova, but modifies and simplifies many of the mechanisms of that game in an elegant and surprising manner. Your goal to find the best way to puzzle together your animals, buildings, and projects on your zoo map is an ongoing pleasure!

Gentlemen and ladies take to the floor in Shall We Dance, with you trying to pair them off, in addition to specializing in certain types of dancers.

The game contains seven colors of dancers, with each color having ladies on half that color's cards and gentlemen on the other half.

On a turn, play 1-3 cards of the same gender of either a single color you don't have in front of you or only colors you already do have. In the latter case, if you can now pair a gentleman and lady of the same color, do so. Then for each color you played, if you have any "free" (i.e. unpaired) cards, see whether another player has a free card of the same color and opposite gender; if so, take one of these cards to create a pair in front of you, with the holder of the "stolen" card being compensated by 1-2 points from the reserve.

To end your turn, refill your hand to eight cards by drawing 1-3 cards, one each from different stacks. When enough stacks have been depleted, the game ends, with each player revealing one more card to try to make a final pair.

Score 1 point for each pair in front of you. Additionally, each player with the most cards in a color receives 3 points, with 1 point going to whoever has the next most cards. Whoever has the highest score wins.

This Kiwi loves skiing, but the weather on the mountain changes quickly. Help the Kiwi navigate the tracks while braving the sun, rain, snow, and lightning. Keep an eye on the weather and work together to help the Kiwi conquer the ski track.

Each player starts with an open card and takes turns. On your turn, connect your card to the other cards on the table to extend the track. After placing your card in front of you in the way you choose, draw a weather card. It rotates your track card, forcing you to connect it in a new way. Watch the weather carefully: there are only two cards of each type, so remember which ones have already appeared.

The game ends when the weather deck runs out for the second time. Add up your final points to see what kind of skier you are. Work together to build the best route and make the Kiwi the ultimate skier!

Climb the social ladder — or kick it over.

The trick-taking game Tax the Rich features a deck depicting characters of various social ranks from the Poor to the President. Each round begins with a simple bidding phase to determine both the trump color and the number of tricks required to score bonus points. The winner of the bid must then acquire the required number of tricks, together with their ally.

The game is played as a trick-taking game in which the highest social ranks are the strongest cards. However, if at any time all remaining cards in your hand have a flag symbol, you may trigger a "revolution" by revealing your cards. This flips the social hierarchy upside down so that the lowest-ranked cards become the most powerful. Having called for a revolution, you stand publicly exposed, playing the rest of this round with your cards face up.

The game includes thirteen rule cards that add variety by giving certain character cards special abilities related to their profession: Workers "unionize", the Billionaires "power grab", the Police "stop and frisk", Scientists "debunk" etc. You can play with random rule cards or use one of the scenarios suggested in the rules.

With an optional variant, players can also collect cards with a feminist icon to trigger a feminist revolution, boosting the value of all female characters.

In The Great Evening Banquet, you're in charge of seating guests at the state house at tables with VIPs, ideally not foisting anyone on the VIPs they'd prefer not to see, while simultaneously creating harmonious tables, both for the meal itself and the commemorative photos afterward.

To set up, each player has a set of six VIP tables, each of which seats four guests; guests come in five colors and four types, with five of each token — one of them raising a glass in a toast.

At the start of each round, fill the available carriages with 2-4 tokens, then each player chooses a carriage in turn and places all the guests at one or more tables. When a table is full, score it based on type (all of one or one of each is best), color (ideally not three), and raised glasses (the more, the better). Finally, did you meet the VIP's conditions at that table, such as no guests of a certain type or at least two of a color? If so, you score the full value for that table; otherwise, your points are halved.

When you reach 10 points, you must swap a guest from the Grand Salon with one at your tables, whether that table has been scored or not.

After all tables have been filled, take the commemorative photos, scoring points based on how well you've seated guests in the rows and columns of tables.

The Great Evening Banquet includes expert rules in which the tables are close together and a guest can be seated at two simultaneously. Solo rules are included as well, with the number of carriages falling and rising each round.

As a team of wildlife rangers, your mission is to ensure the well-being of different species in your wildlife reserve while protecting them from potential threats. In The Peak Team, a cooperative game by Scott Almes, 1-5 rangers work together to complete a variety of challenging tasks.

The main board represents the wildlife reserve, dominated by a towering mountain divided into distinct regions. Using a "reverse-drafting" mechanic, where each player assigns their cards to others, rangers will acquire the tools they need to explore the mountain via different paths and transportation systems.

By reaching various locations and observing wildlife, players will complete their personal missions and earn bonuses. Each ranger has two mission slots that fill up as soon as tasks are accomplished. Only by completing all missions before running out of actions will the rangers successfully fulfill their duty!

The Peak Team is built around a tiered level system, with the game increasing in difficulty and complexity as sessions progress. It strikes a careful balance between accessibility for newcomers and a rewarding challenge for seasoned players.

Enhanced by Crocotame's stunning illustrations, The Peak Team is set for release at Essen 2025.

Use Up All Your Sick Days is simple. There's no turns and you need to play a card with the next day or same worker currently on top of the discard pile. Or you could play a card face down as a doctor's note, making it wild. But if go to play at the same time as someone else, you both take the card back and draw a couple more cards as a punishment. Naturally, you can't play immediately after yourself either.

Play all your cards to lose a fatigue token and draw back to 7 cards.
The first half of the players to get rid of their fatigue tokens win!

It's a hilarious climbing shedding game fun for the whole family!

Flip your cards in Verso to uncover vibrant landscapes of land, sea, or sky while trying to create sequences and form squares.

To set up, create a deck with 15 cards per player. Each card is double-sided, with a color (blue, green, or orange), a value (1–6 or a joker), and victory points (1 or 3) on one side; the reverse side will have a different color, the other VP value, and an adjacent number (4 or 6 if the front side is a 5) or a joker.

On a turn, either draw a card or bank a sequence. If you draw, take the top card of the deck and either keep it without looking at the back or flip it; add it to your display, keeping each color in its own row. If you would place a card identical to what you already have, discard it instead.

If you have 2-6 cards in sequence in a single color, you can bank them. Take VP tokens from the reserve equal to the sum of the VP on the sequenced cards, then discard the two highest cards in your sequence. Each neighboring player must flip their highest non-joker card in this same color, discarding it if it matches a card they already have and otherwise placing it in the correct row.

If you ever have a 3x3 square of cards — that is, three cards in each of the three colors — you score 7 VP, regardless of whose turn it is. You must bank a sequence before you can score a square again.

When the deck runs out, each player banks one sequence (without causing their neighbors to flip anything), then the player with the most points wins.

You can also play Verso solo, alternating turns with a simulated opponent that may flip one of your highest cards to a different color. Try to top the designers' top score of 64.

Tonight starts the Wizards' Cup, a magical dueling tournament held once every century. As the king of a country, you will select the six best wizards from your kingdom and decide the order in which they will compete. Yes, your role ends there, and all that remains is to watch your trusted wizards battle it out.

In Wizards Cup, you want to build the best team you can, anticipating how your opponent might attack. Each player starts with a set of 18 cards, and your opponent draws a card at random from your deck that must be one of the wizards on your team. You then choose five more wizards, arrange five of the six wizards into a deck, then place the sixth aside in a waiting zone.

Each player reveals their top wizard and places it in the duel zone, then you see who wins. Resolve wizard powers first, then (if needed) compare the elements on these cards (e.g., light beats shadow, nature beats water); if they share the same element, compare values. The losing wizard heads to that player's discard pile, then they draw the next wizard from their deck to go against the opposing victorious wizard. Keep resolving duels until a player has no cards remaining; the other player claims a victory token.

Each player can then swap one wizard from their six with an unused card, after which they again create a five-card deck and duel. Whoever collects two victory tokens first wins.

A mysterious building rise over the hill, bathed with a crepuscular light. Astonished by the strange aura of the Pagoda, you decide to investigate it. Suddenly, a laugh, a shadow which is not yours and an eye with ominous pretensions turns alive. You have broken the peace of ten powerful Japanese spirits (called Yokai) who rested there! Will you find a way to calm their wrath?

A game of Yokai Pagoda is played through 3 rounds, playing always one card per turn, until someone ends the current round. To play a game, you shuffle the 100 number cards (divided by 10 kinds of Yokai, numbered from 1 to 10), lay out two cards face-up to start the two discard piles, then deal seven cards to each player. Place the rest as the Pagoda deck, between the discard piles.

When you play card, deal with one of the following effects:
  • Playing the same Yokai or the same number allows you to give someone one card from your hand.
  • With a different Yokai and a higher number you can take one random card from the deck -or- the first face-up card from the opposite dicard pile.
  • With a different Yokai and a lower number you can go on with the round as nothing happened -or- end the current round, but only if you have a total amount of three or less points in your hands. But... you must take only into account the lowest card of each kind of Yokai you have!

At that moment, everyone keeps the cards from their hand into a personal reserve. After 3 rounds, the one with less points in their reserve wins but... again you must take only into account the lowest card of each kind of Yokai you have.

Try to match the balance between lose cards or keep the exact amount you need to reduce your score when other player ends the round. In Yokai Pagoda, knowing when to give a card, keep playing or end the round makes the difference!

ANTS is a deep strategy game that focuses on worker management and territorial expansion. Each player begins with one of multiple unique Queen tiles, which will heavily influence your strategy and interaction with the game's interconnected systems. Throughout the game, you will guide your ant colony through cycles of growth, exploration, and conquest to establish dominance over the garden ecosystem.

On your turn, you perform one of six main actions (Dig, Explore, Gather, Incubate, Play Cards, or Defeat Enemies), and you can take free actions to optimize your colony's efficiency.

When you perform a main action, you spend specialized ants from your colony to determine the action's strength. The number of ants you commit (1 to 4) directly influences the power and impact of your chosen action: expand your nest by placing room tiles strategically, explore hexagonal territories to reveal resources and enemies, or position gatherer ants to form continuous supply networks across the garden.

The heart of the game revolves around your colony's life cycle management. Your incubation board tracks three vital phases (eggs, larvae, and ants) each containing three specializations: diggers, explorers, and gatherers. Wild ants serve as valuable wildcards that can fulfill any specialization need. When you incubate, you complete enterprises, trigger production effects, feed your larvae with food cubes, and advance the life cycle.

An important part of the game is managing your nest's architectural growth. Room tiles must be placed strategically to complete entire nest areas, immediately rewarding you with precious stars, one of the primary victory point sources. The garden map becomes a dynamic battlefield where your exploration reveals enemy tiles and resources, while gatherer ants create supply chains that automatically collect resources and emit pheromones when hexes are depleted.

Multiple victory paths ensure diverse strategies remain viable: architectural mastery, territorial control, demographic growth, or tactical card play and enemy conquest.

Lead your colony to victory.

The Dwarven King has issued an order to the houses of each clan. It is imperative to reclaim Karrak-cüm-Kazar, the sacred mountain, ancestral home of the Dwarves since the first Age of the Beard. For too long it has been occupied by the poison of the dark lords, with their creatures defiling the halls that once housed the noblest of all Dwarves. The insult cannot last any longer. The Dwarves return to the mountain.

Covenant is played in turns over three ages. During their turn, players will assign the Dwarves of their clan to different tasks that will allow them to explore the ancient halls of the ancestors and drive out their enemies while rebuilding their ancestral home. Your dwarf tokens and tools will allow you to do all kinds of actions: dig into the mountain, defeat the enemies that live there, and build all kinds of buildings that will bring the legendary dwarf city back to life. At the end of the game, the clan that has accumulated the most glory will take the recognition of the monarch and the victory.

In Feya's Swamp, you take on the role of a clan of swamp dwellers aiming to become the most prosperous in the area. To succeed, you need to adapt to your surroundings by finding the best fishing and settlement spots, as well as choosing the right trading partners. You can also venture into nearby abandoned temples where powerful deities lie in wait to be awakened.

The game takes place over four rounds, with each round consisting of three phases: the income phase, the turn phase, and the maintenance phase. During the turn phase, you use unique characters to position your clan's workers in order to take various actions that help you gain victory points and gain advantages over the other players.

You take actions by moving your boats across the swamp, and these actions include fishing, trading with other clans, exploring abandoned temples in Feya, and building new settlements that will enhance your clan's abilities. Some actions don't require moving through the swamp, such as improving your navigation, which increases your boat speed; hosting festivals where each clan contributes fish to earn victory points; or building new cult spaces that bring prestige to the small islands that form in the swamp.

The main objective is to become the clan that contributes the most to the development of Feya, and to achieve this, you will also need to meet the variable goals specific to each game session.

Feya's Swamp includes an advanced mode in which each clan has unique abilities that introduce a certain level of asymmetry in the game.

Recall is a deep strategy game from the designers of Revive that focuses on engine building and exploration. Each player begins the game with one of fourteen unique tribes and one of eighteen unique gadgets, both of which will heavily influence your strategy and opportunities. Throughout the game, you will lead your tribe, explore the lands, and discover traces of ancient civilizations to learn from them. On your turn, you either:

• Use a keycard to activate an action box, or
• Recall to produce resources and regain your keycards.

When you use a keycard, you activate the abilities of the keycard itself and the effects of the chosen action box. The chosen combination of keycard and action box will therefore determine what you get to do on your turn: populate the lands, move your followers, explore new regions, and build workshops, vaults, or monuments. During the game, you will improve your tribe by acquiring new keycards, upgrading your action boxes, or collecting ability stones and relics.

An important part of the game is searching dig sites for traces of ancient civilizations. These sites unlock access to the abilities and gadgets of ancient tribes, in addition to providing important scoring opportunities.

Three times during the game, players must choose one of two paths, with the chosen path providing an immediate bonus, as well as boosting one of the endgame scoring categories.

By using the optional digital companion website, players can archive their tribes at the end of their game, thereby making their tribes discoverable as ancient civilizations in other players' games.
